Device for arming the detonating cord ZL1, ZL2
The ZL1, ZL2 device is used to arm the detonating cord (DC) with a detonator (or two detonators) in the blast hole. It can be used both during manual and pneumatic loading of blast holes using the NP-2 blaster.
The ZL1, ZL2 device is used with a permitted penthrite detonating cord (e.g. NITROCORD 8) and detonators (electric, non-electric, electronic) with a shell diameter ø 8 mm and a length of up to 95 mm.
The product has a positive technical opinion of the Central Mining Institute.
PLACE OF APPLICATION:
The product can be used in open cast and underground mines, also at methane explosion hazards.
PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION:
The device enables the arrangement of armed lines of the detonating cord parallel to the axis of the blast hole after they have been inserted into the blast hole and moved to the main stemming. The initiation of the detonating cord with a detonator takes place in the ZL1, ZL2 device, directly in front of the stemming, on a straight section of the detonating cord placed towards the bottom of the blast hole.
